Job Function:

 

• Carries out troubleshooting, corrective, preventive & shutdown maintenance activities under supervision of Senior Supervisor Instruments.

• Works on pneumatic, electronic, laboratory, DCS, and on-line analysis instruments.

 

About the Job:

 

• Carries out preventive and shutdown maintenance activities and repair faults and malfunctions on company instrumentation and analyzers (pneumatic & electronic / process & non-process). Fill the related calibration forms after completion of each PM job as per job schedule, get it assess by senior supervisor and keep in the record.

•   Assists to carry out installation, modification, programming and retrofit of all types of instrumentation, turbine control systems, and analytical equipment. Commissioning and drawing updating.

•  Carries out troubleshooting and repair maintenance of all instrumentations and electronic control systems, such as: fire and gas systems, DCS, PLC, microprocessors and turbo machinery monitoring and control systems.

•  Carries out disconnection, removal, reconnection of instruments and related equipment and systems as required and carries out tubing and piping jobs related to instrument, analyzers, and other control systems.

•  Assists contractors in contracted out instrumentation and electronic jobs as required.

•  Records collective jobs carried out in turnover book and follows up instructions and information in the daily order and the turnover books.

•  Refers to drawings, documentation, manuals, etc. in carrying out the jobs, assists in updating and enhancing drawings, documentation & procedures.

•  Identifies the required spare parts and assist in withdrawals & returns of materials from the stores.

 

About the Candidate:

 

• Bahraini (Nationality).

• Fluent speak and write Arabic and English.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation and/or Control Engineering or its equivalent.

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience on petrochemical or heavy industrial plant, including 2 years gas turbine control experience.

• Ability to read and comprehend drawings, manuals, policies, and procedures in English.

• Possess a valid driving license.
